You will probably have read reports of a continuing decline in student numbers for Media and Film Studies examinations at GCSE and A-Level. The MEA is undertaking a survey of teachers of the subject in an attempt to identify the reasons why this is happening, and how it is being experienced by teachers in schools and colleges. We would like to have as many members as possible fill in the survey which should take you no longer than ten minutes to complete. We will share the overall results very soon, but please rest assured that we will not be sharing any of your individual data. We will keep the survey open for longer but we would like as many teachers to complete it before 19th September 2021 so we can analyse the findings in order to take next steps.
